Sir Anthony Van Dijck

Historic Centre

For over forty years, Sir Anthony Van Dijck has been an household name in Antwerp. You can visit for lunch and for dinner. The restaurant is hidden in "Vlaeykensgang", in the heart of the city centre. The narrow medieval street is an experience by itself. It seems like you're going back in time.

This is the place to be for classic French cuisine with a contemporary touch. Chef Jöran De Backer works exclusively with fresh, high quality produce. The restaurant's patrician house has been tastefully decorated by the famous antiquarian Axel Vervoordt. In addition to the central section, the restaurant has several rooms and separate areas, allowing you to enjoy delicious food discretely, in peace and quiet. An ideal space for groups, or conversely, when you want extra privacy.

A highly recommended tip: in the summer, ask for a table within the romantic inner patio of the restaurant where you can quietly enjoy culinary delights in the middle of the city!
