‘t Noord

Besides an atmospheric park, activities and events you will experience an outstanding atmosphere. ‘t Noord is the place we’re talking about.

“Park Spoor Noord”, a former railway/marshalling yard, was transformed into the trendiest and most relaxing park in Antwerp. Outdoor activities like basketball, volleyball, skating and table tennis are readily available. If you feel like taking it slow, settle down in “De Zomerbar” and enjoy a refreshing beverage while the kids are having a wonderful time in the adjacent fountains.

Enjoy the lively atmosphere at ‘De Coninckplein’. Every thursday night “Zomer van Antwerpen” presents a mix of caribbean and african rhythms for you to enjoy.

Antwerp’s public library (Permeke) is located at ‘De Coninckplein’ as well. Every third Sunday you can visit a specialized market where you can browse thousands of books and comics while enjoying a bite of tasty street food.

“’t Noord” is a very divers district. It is the place to be for speciality dishes and ingredients from around the world. Polish specialty products, Spanish tapas, authentic Portuguese dishes and a wide variety of Asian ingredients. “’t Noord” has it all!

At “Sint-Jansplein”, “Pepto Bismo” – a creation of one of Belgium’s leading sculptors from the second half of the 20th century, Panamarenko – looks down from above. A little further down, in “Bierkorfstraat”, you can take a dive into the magical world of Panamarenko. Book a guided tour in “Panamarenkohuis” and prepare to be amazed.

“’t Noord” is a vibrant district that offers a unique mix of culture, art and good vibes.
