Park Spoor Noord
Park Spoor Noord used to be a pretty rough neighbourhood, but thanks to a number of projects over the past few years, this park in the North of Antwerp has transformed into a true oasis for relaxation, sport and play. Pack a nice picnic and a blanket, and claim a spot in the grass. Or find a table in the summer bar. There even is a waterpark that is open to everyone. For a relaxing and refreshing day off, Park Spoor Noord is the place to be.
Het PAKT at Het Groen Kwartier
Het PAKT used to be a warehouse that was home to a large construction company here in Antwerp. But now, it has been transformed into a slice of nature and enjoyment in the middle of the city. Het PAKT houses a unique mix of innovative entrepreneurs, sport, wellness, and food and beverage. Relaxing in nature with a bite and a drink? Het PAKT is the perfect spot for that!
The Droogdokkenpark at 't Eilandje
At 't Eilandje, just past Waagnatie, you'll find the new and improved Droogdokkenpark, also known as Scheldebocht. Find a nice spot on the grass with a blanket, or claim one of the benches, and enjoy the lovely view of the Scheldt. Once you start feeling a bit thirsty, the summer bars at Waagnatie are close-by!
Zuiderpark
The Gedempte Zuiderdokken were recently transformed into the new Zuiderpark. This extended green zone in the South of Antwerp is surrounded by all kinds of cosy food and beverage places. This park really is the perfect spot to meet up with friends and enjoy a day full of sunshine and warmth. It's definitely worth a visit!
Marnixplaats
Also in the South of Antwerp, you'll find the well-known Marnixplaats. This square is a lively hotspot for bars and restaurants. Even in the streets surrounding the square and its statue, you can find plenty of gems to try. BaAma for example, is still one of our all-time favourite restaurants.
