Vogelenmarkt is one of the best-known markets in Antwerp. The market takes place every Sunday on and around Theaterplein, in the heart of Theaterbuurt. You can visit from 8 am to 1 pm. In addition to the many food and drink stalls, you’ll find clothes, flowers, jewellery and all kinds of other fun finds.
If you’re in Antwerp on a Saturday, you don’t have to look far for a similar market experience. Exotische Markt or “the exotic market” takes place at the same location on Saturdays. It offers a wide range of local Turkish, Moroccan and other Southern specialties.
