Dok 54 is situated near Antwerp's museum of photography (FoMu) in the trendy South district. This year, everything changed except the owners. Their former restaurant "Smooth & Tasty" got a complete make-over. The owners chose the new name to link the restaurant to the rich history of Antwerp's South district. Dok 54 refers to Antwerp's famous South docks from the 60s.
