Discover Benoti: An Italian restaurant in the heart of Antwerp where you can enjoy delicious antipasti, fresh pasta and flavourful pinsas!

Have you heard of Benoti yet? This Italian restaurant opened its doors on Amerikalei in Antwerp in June 2026. We went along for a taste recently and were completely won over after just the first bite. Need a bit more convincing? Then be sure to check out our food review below. We’ll put it plainly: once you’ve read about our experience, you’re guaranteed to want to pop in yourself.

Atmosphere, Class, and Italian Hospitality

Our evening got off to a great start. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the waiter, who was clearly thoroughly enjoying himself. What also immediately caught our eye was the stylish interior: the restaurant exudes pure class, cosiness, and quality. And the terrace? Covered and heated, yet spacious and open. Together with the promising menu, the enthusiastic welcome and the elegant décor immediately raised our expectations.

Refined Antipasti

For starters, we ordered the Tagliere Misto, a generously filled selection of authentic Italian cold cuts, and the Tagliere Vegano, a varied assortment of tasty vegan delicacies. Perfect for sharing with your table! Accompanied by a refreshing Aperol Spritz, this was an excellent way to kick off the evening.

Delicious Pasta and Pinsa

And then the main course… an extensive menu is always nice, but it did make it rather difficult for us to each choose just one dish. On the recommendation of the friendly waiter, we decided to try the traditional lasagne: al dente lasagne sheets with a rich ragù of minced pork and beef, homemade tomato sauce, and melted mozzarella. Classic, simple, but absolutely delicious!

We also chose the linguine Scoglio: a flavourful pasta dish with a selection of fresh seafood, prepared in the authentic Italian style. A generously portioned plate, beautifully presented, packed with seafood, and cooked to perfection, al dente. Definitely worth trying!

The third dish we ordered was the authentic Roman rigatoni Amatriciana. A rich tomato sauce with fresh basil, crispy guanciale and pecorino. The pasta not only looked delicious, it really was!

Choosing which pinsa to have wasn’t easy either. We eventually went for La Tartufo and didn’t regret our choice! The pinsa was generously topped with creamy truffle cream, wild mushrooms, crispy guanciale and Grana Padano fondue. For anyone who loves truffles, this is definitely a must-try!

An Italian Classic

An Italian delicacy that is an absolute must, of course, is the classic tiramisu. We were already absolutely stuffed from our starter and main course, but miraculously, there’s always a little room left for dessert. Beautifully presented, superbly prepared! We rounded off the evening in style with a limoncello and a grappa, and left the restaurant feeling thoroughly satisfied.

Are You Going For a Taste Too?

Convinced? Then pop into Benoti and slip your feet under the table to enjoy friendly service, mouth-watering dishes, and that typical Italian hospitality. Bon appétit!
